Welcome to the Tooie Acres Home Kitchen! I have been baking for my family for years and have decided to share what I do with you! This is an honor stand that is filled with fresh items every Wednesday Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. I have over 60 items approved to produce from my home kitchen so my weekly menu will change. My grandmother’s recipe for “Wine Cake” turned into a (large) personal muffin. Made with cream sherry and nutmeg.

Butterbeer Scone
This one is for all of you Harry Potter fans! This is a cream scone moistened with browned butter, topped with a butterscotch “foam”.

Grandma Rose’s Shortbread
Another recipe I grew up with, this time from my great grandmother’s recipe card tin box. I even have the honor of making it in her sunflower shaped form!

Carrot Ginger
A nut-free carrot cake inspired cookie with fresh carrots from my garden, cream cheese flavored glaze and a dust of ginger.

Orange Blossom Pistachio Coins
A shortbread-style cookie with orange blossom water and bits of pistachio. The orange blossom in this cookie is intoxicating!

Honey Rose
This is a true international cookie! The honey comes from our hive in Honduras, the small rose petal adorning the top comes from an Istanbul tea shop I was in not long ago!! The pistachios are from the grocery store so…The sweetness of the honey cookie with the gentle aromatics of the rose in the glaze is a lovely combination that I hope you like!

Brown Butter Cinnamon Rolls
Each pack contains two giant rolls prepared with the rich nutty flavor of browned butter, topped with a brown butter frosting.

Grasshopper Bars
Soft and fudgy cake topped with a layer of light, creamy mint and topped with a chocolate fudge frosting. These are addictive!

Charcoal with Tea Tree Oil - $6
Artisan Sundries
Some people think charcoal face soap is just for people with oily skin. That is so not true! Charcoal soap is a deep-cleaning cleanser that helps remove dirt and oil from your face, but anyone can use it! I recommend using your favorite moisturizer directly after each use to rehydrate your skin. You will love how clean your face feels!

Cashmire Plum - $6
This aromatic bar has two layers. The bottom layer has Aztec Clay added to it, which creates a smooth, silky glide on the skin. It also bonds well to oil, dirt, and impurities on the skin, drawing them out of pores without stripping moisture. The top layer has creamy shea butter, which conditions and nourishes your skin.
Clean Linen - $5
I use this in my closet, linen closet, and I put a few spritz in the dryer with the laundry! It leaves everything with a fresh, clean scent.

Hours
The hutch will be stocked every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday with freshly baked treats and other fun things. I open it up at 8am and close near sundown. Exact times of closure will always be posted on a sign in front. I’m still not sure what will happen during heavy rain, I’m guessing I will remain closed but I’ll make that determination when I get there.
Thursday, October 8 will be my last day of business until December.
I am not set up to take online or special orders but will make information about that available when it’s ready!
